Amarjeet is one of our beneficiaries who studied at our Women Literacy Center in 2007 batch. Since then, she never looked back at her past, which was a bit rocky. She hails from Punjab and never got the opportunity to study.
After studying at our Women Literacy Center, she became the center in-charge of a center in Timarpur. Her constant hard work and determination did not stop her from being the ‘ABHA’. Furthermore, in no time, she was promoted as the ‘ABHA COORDINATOR’.
Recently, she was invited with other Tata Power- DDL Senior Dignitaries at an event ‘Employment and Entrepreneurship‘held in Mumbai to speak up her entire story in front of hundreds of people. We couldn’t be prouder of Amarjeet, and she imparts a cardinal message that women are not just meant to cook and stay at home. They can achieve whatever they dream and desire.
