Dhanpatmal Virmani Senior Secondary School

Welcome to Dhanpatmal Virmani Senior Secondary School. The school is located in the residential area of Roop Nagar, Delhi. The edifice of the building is quite magnificent, amidst greenery. The vision of the school is to deliver quality and free education to the students. At the entrance of the school, you will be greeted with a huge playground and a podium attached to it. In total, there are 3 floors, each floor is facilitated with a water cooler & and there are also laboratories for practical knowledge: Chemistry lab, Physics lab, Biology lab, and Computer lab. There are 30 classrooms in the school. Various subjects are offered such as Science and Commerce. The teachers are well qualified and experienced in their own fields. The teaching methods followed are uncomplicated and easy to comprehend. The strength of the students is from 700 from class sixth to class twelve.


A host of co-curricular activities are organized every year, aiming to provide opportunities to students o develop non-academic abilities, and explore their strengths beyond academics.

Co-curricular activities are meant to bring social skills, intellectual skills, moral values, personality progress and character appeal in students. The activities require students to stay active at school by participation since students have no option to skip these activities as it’s a part of their curriculum. Besides, Co-curricular activities are good for improving students learning experience at school which improves their attendance at school.


The students of Dhanpatmal Virmani Senior Secondary School have left no stone upturned pertaining to various activities at school and national levels.


Unnati Rathore won a gold medal and a bronze medal at 64th National School Games Championship 2019, 53 kg, Under-19. Besides, Aryan won a silver medal at 8th National Power Lifting Championship, May 2018.
Roshni Sonker won a Gold Medal and a Silver Medal at Delhi State Championship 2019 and Delhi Olympic Games, 53 kg, respectively. Unnati Rathore won a Gold Medal at Delhi State Championship 2019 Kaushal won a Gold Medal at Delhi State Championship, Under-19 Aryan won a Silver Medal at Delhi State Power Lifting Championship, December 2018

Zonal Level: Boys Basketball Team, Third position

Tulsi, Sidhi, Devyanshi, Dev, Arman and Sahil Gola: Second position

State level: Fourth position
Zonal level: First position

Students of 9th Unnati and Roshani won gold medal in wrestling in Delhi State. Unnati also won a gold medal at the national level. Unnati's father is her Coach and both girls were felicitated by school In-charge Mr. Avtar Singh and other staff members in the morning assembly.
