Scholarships

Scholarship initiative was founded in 2003 and is focused on meritorious students who need financial aid. The funds are awarded based on academic performance in numerous fields and are awarded to students from low-income families. Scholarships have become the single biggest piece of the average student's funding. By taking some of the financial pressure off of students and families, we can enable greater success in school and college, helping deserving students who want to graduate with their degree and give back to society.

Since the inception of the scholarship initiative, 50 students of Dhanpatmal Virmani Senior Secondary School has been given scholarships.

WHY SCHOLARSHIPS ARE VITAL FOR LOW INCOME STUDENTS AND FAMILIES

College and higher education have always been important, but pretty expensive too. For students from low-income families, this is a massive obstacle. If college were affordable, they’d have a better chance at breaking the poverty; instead, the struggle to pay for higher education can leave students in dire financial straits. Hence, we believe in putting students first.

SCHOLARSHIPS HELP TO END THE POVERTY

Unfortunately, too many of the students who could most benefit from higher education are finding it harder and harder to afford. The universities are priced out of reach. Scholarships are a vital way for learners from low-income backgrounds to afford higher education. That education is a potential ticket out of poverty for those who complete their degrees—and that means scholarships matter now more than ever.
